2012 KLIAV show: Welcome to Room 8031

Ms Aurélie Gonzalo of Triangle Electroacoustique to meet audiophiles at KLIAV 2012

Ms Aurélie Gonzalo, Export Manager of Triangle Electroacoustique will make an appearance at the upcoming KLIAV Show 2012 at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 21st June 2012.

She has been in this industry for many years before joining Triangle Electroacoustique, bringing along with her vast experience and expertise in Hi-Fi. She will be at KLIAV show before heading to China and Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Hi-End Audio Visual Show on 10th August 2012.

Sonus faber Minima Amator with stands in working condition. Handcrafted in Italy. Minor scratches on the surface after so many years. The cloth on one of the grilles has loosen on two corners but can be fixed easily. Original bolts between speakers and stands are missing.

Because of its relatively "compact" size, this model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility in the Heritage Series line.  First introduced in 1957, the Heresy, a three-way design, started out as a compact center channel speaker to accompany the Klipschorn® in three-speaker stereo arrays. In 1985, we made some changes and improvements to this model and re-released it as the Heresy II. Today, the new Heresy III has a more powerful woofer, a bi-wire network, and a titanium diaphragm tweeter with a larger magnet assembly. The midrange compression driver also features a new titanium diaphragm.

All of these changes result in improved tonal balance and increased output. In fact the Heresy III is three decibels louder (96 to 99dB), improving on its already high sensitivity.

In addition to delivering smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound, the Heresy III is available in a high-quality cherry, walnut or black ash wood veneer finish. Included is a slant riser base for floor placement that can be removed for cabinet installations.

Hot: Even tonal balance with great detail retrieval capabilities. This player is never additive and has a firm comprehension of timing and speed. Full potential is realised when the digital output jumper inside is removed, which results in a more open sound and wider stage, with better bass and more sparkling highs. CD players like this one do much to extend the shelf-life of the format. “Involving” seems like an understated term to describe it.

Cold: Looks not as spectacular as the sound. BNC output may limit connectivity to outboard DACs (although the sterling performance of the internal unit may lead to the question why one would want to do this).

Encore: It’s great to that Exposure is paying this much attention to competitiveness – the 3010s2 seems like a steal, given that it stands up to units twice the price. This one is for those who want to “leave it there and just enjoy the music.” Well done … if you’re putting together a CD-based system, this will suit many configurations.
